Hourly Rate: $20.47 /hour + 4% in lieu of vacation pay
Hours/Week: 24 hours (Evening and Saturday hours required)
Hours: Weekdays and weekends (hours may vary)

Sheridan is looking for outstanding individuals to join our team part-time servicing our photography programs in the Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
•    Supporting students and provide advice and mentoring, with appropriate equipment selection, lensing, and lighting strategies for various assignments;
•    Providing support for students and faculty on field trips;
•    Providing research support for new equipment purchases;
•    Troubleshooting and rectifying problems that may occur with equipment such as Phase One Camera backs;
•    Maintaining equipment and facilities in accordance with Health and Safety standards;
•    Training and acting as a technical advisor to students and staff on equipment and procedures used within the program;
•    Signing out equipment using VimBiz software;
•    Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
•    Post-Secondary Photography credential and 5 years of relevant experience
•    3 years teaching experience (or similar capacity)
•    Demonstrated photo studio experience. (This could be a portfolio)
•    Experience with studio and location flash, and continuous lighting equipment.
•    Experience with large-format cameras.
•    Experience with Capture One software and Phase One Camera backs.
•    Work experience in a customer service position. This could be retail experience.
•    Video experiences an asset.
